FC ROMA Futsal 2012 Boys Elite Team Competes at USYF South Atlantic Regional Tournament

This past weekend, our FC ROMA Futsal 2012 Boys Elite Team traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, for their final tournament of the winter season: the prestigious USYF South Atlantic Regional Tournament!

It was an exciting milestone for the team, as it marked their first time traveling outside of Maryland and their debut at a Regional tournament. While the final outcome wasn’t what we had hoped for, the boys put on an impressive performance against highly experienced and skilled Futsal teams.

Reaching the Quarterfinals in their first-ever tournament beyond state lines was a fantastic accomplishment. The way they competed and held their own against tough opponents was truly remarkable and a testament to their hard work and dedication.

With the season now complete, we’ll continue practicing Futsal to gear up for our next big challenge. Stay tuned for what’s ahead!
