New exciting partnership with Cantera SC.

We’re proud to officially announce our ongoing partnership with Cantera SC, a premier soccer academy in the DMV area, as we continue our shared mission of developing more complete, confident, and creative players through the integration of Futsal into the soccer training process.

Led by Coach Andrea Urbisaglia, a former professional Futsal player and UEFA B-licensed international coach, fUtsAl Coach has spent the past few years bringing the game of Futsal to youth players in the Bethesda area—most notably through our competitive team, FC ROMA Futsal, which has earned strong results in state and regional tournaments.

This collaboration with Cantera SC began two years ago as a pilot project, incorporating Futsal into the training program of their 2012 Boys Elite team. Since then, the partnership has grown stronger—and so have the players. Their progress has been remarkable: enhanced decision-making, technical precision, mental sharpness, and a noticeable boost in confidence on the soccer field. This winter, the team competed in a Futsal league and proudly finished as champions.

At fUtsAl Coach, we believe in the power of Futsal as a foundational sport—especially during a player's early development years. Across Europe and South America, it’s no secret that some of the world’s top footballers began their journeys on the Futsal court, where they learned to master the ball in tight spaces, think fast, and play smart.

Through this ongoing partnership with Cantera SC, we’re committed to offering consistent, high-quality Futsal training across the season. Together, we aim to set a new standard for player development—by blending the best of both worlds.
